Google defines coincidence as “a remarkable concurrence of events or circumstances without an apparent casual connection”. In my life, and nearly everyone’s on the planet, has been subjected to or been a part of an eerie coincidence or happenstance. Please enjoy the following You Tube videos and personal narrative follow up. Together, they just may peak your interest in this unexplained phenomenon of weird.
So….
I married a man named John late in life.
My two best friends married men named John late in life.
My aunt, the one everyone thought was reincarnated in me, had married a man named John late in life.
My two best friends only had sons.
( Just got a call from another friend in Arizona. She too, just married a man named John. Eek!)
I had three sons.
My best friends had only sons.
My aunt had only sons.
My sister’s son had to have his left arm removed.
My sister had to have her left lung removed.
I was given an antique picture, not knowing it was of West Point, before my youngest son was born.
My youngest son went to West Point not knowing the picture of West Point hung over his head most of his youth.
Everywhere I travel people think they know me and start conversing no matter what the language.
Am I a world wide doppelganger?
If I thought hard enough I could come up with more weird connections, as could most of you.
But to do that would be scary, nobody wants to sit down and ponder long about those things that are beyond reason.
So….
Is happenstance merely the convergence of life repeating itself over and over again until it starts to overlap?
Are we a part of a parallel universe transversing with each other ?
Are our brains too small to fully comprehend what’s really going on?
Or, is the concept of coincidence just a riddle given us by a higher being for a higher reason?
There is no concrete answer to coincidence. It’s duty is to continually stoke the fire of shock and awe.
